How We Rate the Condition of Our Vintage Items

We carefully inspect every item and assign it one of the following condition ratings:

 

New

Unused and unworn. May come with original packaging like dust bag, box, tags, or certificates—if included, this will always be mentioned in the product description or shown in the photos.

 Excellent

Barely used with little to no signs of wear. If any wear is present, it’s minor and will be clearly noted in the product description.

Very Good

Gently used with light signs of wear. No tears or scuffs, but may have very minor marks or surface scratches on leather or hardware. Clean and fresh interior.

Good

Well-kept with visible signs of wear. May show slight discoloration, scuffing on corners, shallow scratches, or minor storage smell—but no major damage or tears.

Fair

Noticeably worn with visible flaws. May include cracked or scuffed leather, interior marks, a broken zipper, small holes, or strong odors. Any standout damage will be detailed in the product description.

 

If an item includes original extras like a dust bag, box, case, certificate, or tags, we will always mention it in the description and/or show it clearly in the photos.
If it’s not stated or shown, the item is sold on its own.
